The Technological Redundancy Employed by Puryear Logistics Virtual Reception Service
First and foremost, the goal of our virtual reception service is to provide reliable service. We employ technology that is designed from the ground up to achieve that goal.
We make use of network connections from multiple service providers, with surge protection and battery backup. The building is well secured, to include dozens of security cameras and other systems that monitor for intrusion, temperature, flooding, etc. The email and other system utilized by Puryear Logistics are designed with redundancy and fault-tolerance in mind. The owner of the company has extensive experience with managing computer and network system (he is an Attorney at Law whose Bachelor’s degree is in Computer Science, and who has spent decades working with computer hardware and software for work and just for the fun of it).
Puryear Logistics is based in Davenport, IA. As part of the Midwest USA, we are not in an area that expected to suffer to hurricanes, earthquakes, wildfires, tsunamis, mudslides, etc. Our sturdy brick building is located on higher elevation than much of the surrounding land, reducing the concern about flooding. While it is true that no portion of the world is immune from natural disasters, we believe that our location is about as ideal as it can get in terms of natural disasters.
